Zebra

Zebra meat is quite popular in Europe. Contrary to popular belief, it tastes nothing like horse. We would suggest it tastes more like a sweeter version of beef. In South Africa, it is only Burchell's Zebra which may be farmed and slaughtered. As with crocodile, zebra is farmed for its skin and leather. The meat is a secondary-product.
