Bushman Hamper

The bushman are arguably the oldest living indiginous tribe in sub-Saharan African. They are believed to have lived in the region for some 20,000 years. They are also known as San, Sho, Basarwa, Kung and Khwe. Traditionally hunter-gatherers, they are nomadic people who live off the land. Sadly, modern lifestyles and the influx of others onto their ancestral lands mean that there are few remaining bushman still living in the traditional way. Those who do are mainly found in the Kalahari Desert.
